The Mike Benign Compulsion exists to bring joy and serenity and good, good feelings and that kind of crap to the music-consuming public. Hence the recordings with the songs on them and the shows where they play the songs with their instruments and etc.
TMBC’s music is best described as a chocolate-covered feather floating on a downy bed of sausage through rivers of time, with short breaks every three or four minutes so people can stretch their legs or go to the bathroom if they’d like because my God, we’re all human beings aren’t we? Instantly familiar, TMBC’s songs include multiple chords and notes and also words.

As a live act, TMBC promises standout songs played by good humans with minimal wanking, medium volume and maximum conviction. Whether or not they actually deliver all that is for someone else to say. But it’s always a good idea to promise stuff. Makes you feel ALIVE!
